I knew right off what your object was. The way it was revealed reminded me of my uncle and the colors reminded me of the tabacco he used to use and when the pipe was started I could rember the smell of his black cherry tobacco that was warm and comforting to me. Thank you for bringing back the memmory's I have not had in many years.
Nice series. Try getting even closer, or showing how the pipe sits in the person's mouth. The colors look great - nice exposures. Keep looking for variety in the arrangement/placement of your subject, as well as the lighting.
